DESCRIPTION:The Fraternity Club presents CASTAGNE DAY 2023! \nThe May festival\, which marks the beginning of the Italian nut season\, pays tribute to Italians who survived World War II by gathering chestnuts and turning them into bread\, after their corn and grain fields were bombed. \nActivities include: \n– Market & International Food Stalls \n– Live Entertainment & Demonstrations \n– Traditional Roasting of the Chestnuts \n– PLUS all your favourite carnival rides for the kids! \nFree entry for all but you can pre-purchase rides packages for the kids at the Book/Enquire link. \n  \nWhile FFI takes every reasonable effort to ensure that information is correct at the time of publication\, we recommend that the individual confirm details with the event organiser\, as events can be subject to last minute changes. \n
