DESCRIPTION:The Thirroul Community Garden is a community run\, council supported\, shared garden space. Our purpose is to have a positive effect on local people\, food supply and the environment. \nJoin us for our annual open day\, celebrating our community and learning about food. \nLIVE MUSIC \nMARKET STALL – fresh produce\, seedlings\, baked goods and preserves \nHOME MADE SOUP AND FLAT BREADS baked in our pizza oven \nGARDEN TOURS – learn more about the garden and how to get involved\, 10:30 / 11:30/ 12:30/ 1:30 \nWORKSHOPS\n• 11am – Mud Mixing in a festive way to build and repair rocket stoves\n• 12 – Up-cycling art\n• 1pm – No dig garden bed\n• 2pm – Bokashi \n  \n\nURBAN AGRICULTURE MONTH\nUrban Agriculture Month (UAM) is co-ordinated yearly by Sustain: The Australian Food Network\, a think and do network connecting passionate people like you to build tangible change. Urban Agriculture Month encourages enthusiastic gardeners\, activisits\, farmers\, researchers and consumers from around Australia come together to celebrate and promote urban agriculture as an important part of community resilience and well-being.
