SUMMARY:Global Climate Change Week 2022
DESCRIPTION:Global Climate Change Week (GCCW) aims to encourage academic communities – including academics\, students\, and professional staff at universities and their local municipalities – to contribute more to ensuring that these needs are met. \nThere is an urgent need to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases much more quickly than is currently projected. There is also an urgent need to adapt to the global warming that can’t now be prevented\, and especially for rich countries to help other countries to adapt and develop in low carbon ways. \nCore Events: 12 – 18 October 2022\nThere are many workshops and exhibitions that will be held across the world. \nWollongong: \nThe ‘Antarctic Futures’ art exhibition will be on display in the UOW Gallery\, in the Jillian Broadbent Building (Building 29)\, from Monday to Wednesday\, 10am to 4pm. It will run from 18 August to 19 October 2022.
