SUMMARY:Green Connect Volunteer Dig Day
DESCRIPTION:Would you like to be part of Wollongong’s biggest regenerative farm? To meet new people\, try new things\, get outdoors and physically active and your hands in the soil? \nCome along to Green Connect’s volunteer dig day. Registrations are essential. \nVolunteers will be removing crops (pulling produce out of the ground)\, clearing plots (ridding garden beds of all crops and weeds) and composting. \nPlease note this is quite physical work and there are very few opportunities for light work at dig days. Any food harvested on the day will be available for volunteers to take home. Any remaining food will be donated to a local charity. \nPlease register as a volunteer via the Green Connect Website. \n  \nWhile FFI takes every reasonable effort to ensure that information is correct at the time of publication\, we recommend that the individual confirm details with the event organiser\, as events can be subject to last minute changes.
