Green Connect

Green Connect is a social enterprise creating meaningful change in the Illawarra by addressing some of our region’s most pressing challenges—youth unemployment, refugee resettlement, food insecurity, and social isolation.

They employ young people and former refugees, who often face barriers to finding work, providing them with safe, supportive, and inclusive workplaces where they can thrive.

At the heart of their work is a commitment to growing fair food—nourishing produce that’s good for the people who eat it, the people who grow it, and the planet.

Green Connect also plays a powerful role in strengthening community connection, recognising that bringing people together not only improves mental well-being but is key to building a more resilient, sustainable future.
