This event is both a celebration and a fundraiser to support the future of Green Connect Farm. Alongside your ticket purchase, there will be an opportunity on the night to contribute further and help us continue to grow.

This fundraising event will feature:

• Banquet-style dinner made with fresh, seasonal produce from the farm
• Guided farm tour showcasing our sustainable urban farming methods
• Screening of Thankful for Soil – a powerful documentary by Nviro Media about Australian farmers using soil to combat climate change and build a sustainable future

About the Film – Thankful for Soil

Thankful for Soil is a new film celebrating the stories of Australian farmers who are using the soil beneath their feet to combat climate change and build a brighter future for their family farms.

Filmmakers Suzannah Cowley and Nigel Christensen spent four years travelling across Australia – from Tasmania to Goondiwindi and Brewarrina – capturing powerful stories of farmers regenerating their land. Their goal is to share this film with farming and urban communities across Australia to spark conversations about soil health and its role in creating resilient food systems and a healthier planet.
