Play & Picnic Day

Green Connect’s new Play & Picnic Days offer a fun and educational outdoor experience for families and people of all ages, with more opportunities to enjoy time on the farm than ever before.

Spend up to three hours in the beautiful Children’s Garden, where kids have lots of choice for free play, including sand pit, mud kitchen, recycled and natural loose parts and more. You’ll also head out on two mini–Farm Tours, offered in small groups throughout the session, to meet and feed pigs, sheep, goats and chickens, explore the organic market gardens, smell the compost, and learn a bit about how they grow food sustainably. Bring a waste-free snack and a small picnic rug (if you don’t want to sit on the grass, rocks or logs) to make the most of what is sure to be a fun and enriching morning!
