The Thirroul Community Garden is a community run, council supported, shared garden space. Our purpose is to have a positive effect on local people, food supply and the environment.
Join us for our annual open day, celebrating our community and learning about food.
LIVE MUSIC
MARKET STALL – fresh produce, seedlings, baked goods and preserves
HOME MADE SOUP AND FLAT BREADS baked in our pizza oven
GARDEN TOURS – learn more about the garden and how to get involved, 10:30 / 11:30/ 12:30/ 1:30
WORKSHOPS
• 11am – Mud Mixing in a festive way to build and repair rocket stoves
• 12 – Up-cycling art
• 1pm – No dig garden bed
• 2pm – Bokashi

Urban Agriculture Month encourages enthusiastic gardeners, activisits, farmers, researchers and consumers from around Australia come together to celebrate and promote urban agriculture as an important part of community resilience and well-being.
