Knowing how to shop, how to store food and how to cook are valuable tools for eating well on a budget. There are many tips and resources available, but simple things like planning meals, shopping to a list, eating seasonally, buying nutritious staples in bulk, reducing meat and dairy consumption and minimising spending on occasional foods are all simple steps to get you started.
