Local and sustainable food
Wollongong Online Farmers Market (WOFM) only stocks food that is grown or produced in a socially and environmentally responsible manner within the boundaries of the Illawarra Region or adjoining LGAs, including Campbelltown, Shoalhaven, Sutherland, Wingecarribee and Wollondilly.
A more localised food system not only means shorter supply chains and lower CO2 emissions, it means that a larger proportion of revenue is retained in our local economy.
’Three-way handshake’ modality
To cover our coordination and operational costs, the WOFM will utilise a ‘three-way handshake’ modality; 10% transaction fee paid by consumers and a 10% order fee for producers to maintain the marketplace (20% of each order placed). This order-based fee is significantly lower in comparison to retail margins or physical farmers market fees. This fee is automatically calculated upon checkout.

Our market is open for you to shop between 12 noon Wednesday to 11pm on Monday, for pick up the following Thursday.
